Driving Directions:

From Vancouver – Take BC Ferries www.bcferries.bc.ca to Vancouver Island You can take either the Horseshoe Bay Ferry  to Departure Bay or the Tsawassen Ferry to Duke point. Follow the directions “From Nanaimo” below.

From Victoria – Travel North on Highway #1 to Nanaimo (approx 2 hrs).  Follow the directions “From Nanaimo” below.

From Nanaimo – Travel North on Highway 19, take Highway 4 (exit #60) West through  Port Alberni, follow the signs to Pacific Rim National Park or Tofino/Ucluelet.  When Highway 4 come to a “T” intersection at Pacific Rim Highway, turn left (south) to Ucluelet.  Go 2 kms, Casa Florencia is the first house on the right side of the road, 2490 Pacific Rim Hwy (approx 2.5 hrs from Nanaimo).

From Seattle/Washington State  –

Option 1:  Travel North on I-5 to Vancouver.  Follow the directions “From Vancouver” above.

Option 2:  Take a ferries over to Victoria then follow the directions “From Victoria” above.

Ø      the Anacortes Ferry www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries (90 Miles North of Seattle) to Sydney (17 Miles North of Victoria). 

Ø      the Coho Ferry www.cohoferry.com from Port Angeles (2 hours and 45 minutes North West of Seattle)  to Victoria.

Ø      the Victoria Clipper from Seattle www.victoriaclipper.com 

NOTE - Passenger Only Service

Flying:

There are international airports located in both Vancouver www.yvr.ca and Victoria www.cyyj.ca There are two airlines with daily service to and from Vancouver and Tofino: North Vancouver Air www.northvanair.com and Northern Hawk Aviation www.northernhawk.com

Bus:

You can take the express Tofino Bus (www.tofinobus.com) from Vancouver, Nanaimo or Victoria.  There is no fee for your surfboard, kayak and bike.  Tofino Bus also offers the Beach Bus with service between Tofino and Ucluelet.
